Getting Things Done

Kerry Gleeson, author of The Personal Efficiency Programme, indicates ways of getting things done both quickly and effectively. Methods include:

Filing systems that create three benefits - working order, reference systems, archive material. If the information needed can be retrieved from computer or website sources, then bin the paperwork.

Project management that is created by to-do lists, deadlines and monitoring methods.

Avoid procrastination that eats up time. Act fast and answer quickly.

Purge clutter, clear space and, when necessary, turn off the phone to create time.

Look at the information on the Links column under Getting Things Done and increase both efficiency and effectiveness.
